There is only a few weeks left so now is the ideal time to conduct your spring flora surveys or risk project delays!
Spring flora surveys are critically important to ensure that a project has the best botanical information possible. Spring flora surveys are generally required for sites in the south west of the state where vegetation is likely to be cleared. This is especially so where there is a potential that species with threatened or priority conservation status may be present. A survey in the main flowering period is also necessary to satisfy the requirements for a level 2 assessment as is commonly required as part of the EIA process.
Rapallo are currently finalising our spring survey program with the aim to provide our clients with the highest standard of survey and report preparation as part of a cost efficient service.
Rapallo has a fully qualified in-house team of ecologists/botanists who are highly experienced with the flora, vegetation and fauna of Western Australia. With a diverse background of experience; from the private sector, to state government agencies and research bodies, our team is able to provide detailed, quality advice regarding flora, vegetation and fauna surveys and innovative solutions to complex issues arising from the unique assemblages of flora and fauna.
Our core team comprises botanists, zoologists, and invertebrate specialists, each with more than a decade of experience in their professional fields. Where appropriate, Rapallo is able to run fauna surveys concurrently with flora and vegetation surveys, thus increasing survey and reporting efficiency, and allowing high-level integration of ecological data.
Rapallo has a sound understanding of current environmental legislation, EPA survey guidelines, and environmental approvals processes. Our botanical team works in close association with our zoology and environmental management teams to produce integrated results.
